Can I ask about the salary during the interview?
No please don’t do that. It is not the right time for it.
Salary negotiation is only when you have already secured the job.
Meaning they have verbally offered you the job and now the compensation negotiation starts. This includes things like relocation (if applicable), no of holidays and other allowances.
I say to everyone that always ask for a bit more after the first offer.
It doesn’t hurt to ask. Never ask never get, betul tak?
But don’t overdo it. Nanti they withdraw the offer pulak!
