Apparently it’s ok in Hanoi to do this. Different social etiquette.
I’ve learnt to be non-judgmental with other peoples social etiquette.
Other people might feel the same with my culture. We tend to burp loudly to show appreciation that we enjoyed our food. This would be frowned upon by mat salleh.
Mat salleh pulak like to blow their nose very loudly bila diaorg berhingus. Something that we don’t do and rolled our eyes when we hear it haha.
So every culture have certain behaviors that might not be appropriate in other culture.
We just have to be more tolerant.
