4 tips to help you write consistently on LinkedIn
First, pick a topic that you are passionate about, something that you love. If you can talk for hours about a topic with your friends, then you can write a short post about the topic easily. I love to talk about interviews, careers, self development and my beautiful mother so my posts are around those subjects
Second, for each topic you can list down all the subtopics. For example, for interviews I can talk about what to wear, usual interview questions, what not to do and good questions to ask the interviewer. About my beautiful mother, for example I can talk about her difficult childhood, her amazing qualities, her delicious cooking and her final illness. Each subtopic can then be the subject of a post.
Third, use an app or programme that is accessible on phone and laptop to write. Therefore whenever you are inspired to write you can write straightaway. While you are waiting for your flight, sitting in a cafe waiting for your coffee you can just write. I use Google Doc.
Lastly, stop overthinking. We are our own worst critic. What’s the worse thing that can happen? Nobody will read the post. If nobody reads the post, what will happen? Nothing. So nothing bad is gonna happen!!
Just post it.
