I lived abroad for 27 years.
After SPM, terus pergi England and lived there for 20 years before living in Germany and then America.
What did I learn from living abroad?
In America, I learned how to talk and sell myself. Americans are great at talking about themselves and what they do. They invented the ‘Elevator Pitch’
In Germany, I learned to be direct and efficient. Why waste time in the morning borak-borak when you can do work straightaway?
In England, I learned to be charming and polite. English people memang very polite. They say please and thank you all the time.
Good to be back in London this week where my career journey in pharmaceutical industry started in 2005.
