To get the best review, a restaurant does its best to provide the best customer experience. Buy fresh local ingredients. Employ the top chefs in the country. Find the most stylish interior designer. Hire the best crew to serve the customers.
But sometimes they forget a small simple thing. Benda simple je.
A free glass of normal tap water. Air kosong.
Tap water in Malaysia is clean and drinkable. And doesn’t cost much compared to all the other expenses.
When they don’t want to serve me a glass of water, it creates a bad dry taste in my mouth. It makes me give them only a 3-star.
I am sure many of you feel the same way too.
So when you are dealing with your customers, colleagues or boss, make sure that you don’t ignore the small simple things.
