Road Rage

I had road rage and really pressed the pedal to catch the other stupid car!
I was so mad and lost control of myself. It was a scary feeling and one that I hope not to happen again.

That was a couple of years back. My beautiful mother was sick at that time and I thought the doctors were not doing a good job plus I had some other personal problems. It all got too much! Nak meletup.

Luckily I was already seeing a counsellor then and she really helped me through that period. Really helped to understand my own feelings and to pause and take care of my mental health. I still see her on a need to basis and everytime I see her I learned something new about myself and how I process my thoughts.

Today 10th October, besides Shopee big 10.10 sale day, is World Mental Health Day and I want to highlight the importance of looking after our mental health. It is just the same as physical health, it is ourselves who is in charge of taking care of our body and our mind.

So if you are not feeling good, then talk to someone about it. Learn different ways to help you maintain a good mental health. Besides talking to my counsellor, I also do meditation. Pagi-pagi 10 minit meditation guna the Calm app helps me to quieten the busy mind.

Kena jaga diri sendiri ya, both the physical and the mental side.
