I didn’t think anyone would come but I had a full house for my first training webinar one year ago.
It was about ‘ABC of Interview’
Since then dah macam-macam training I buat including face to face training once lockdown habis dah alhamdulillah
What have I learned from the experience of teaching others for the last 365 days?
Firstly, people want ‘hands-on’ experience. The practical experience. The theory boleh baca sendiri but they want to know how to apply it.
For example, they can read about ‘maintaining eye contact’ but how do you actually practice that if you are a shy person. So the face to face training gives them the opportunity to practice it with others.
Secondly, what seems obvious to me is not obvious to others. When I think everyone should know this already, it is not always true.
For example, I thought people know already that ‘what’s your strength and weaknesses’ is a basic interview question but still orang tak prepare and don’t know how to answer it
Thirdly, face to face training is more better than webinar training. Webinar training is convenient for location and travelling time but for more effective training it’s the face to face training jugak yang lebih berkesan.
Face to face training I can see the body language better. I can interact more personally with them. They can also chit chat and network with the others. And most importantly they cannot switch off their camera.
