Alamak there’s a Myvi behind me.
You are driving leisurely on the North-South highway for a lovely weekend getaway in Ipoh and suddenly there is a silver Myvi in your rear-view mirror right up your a*s.
You then speed up a bit more to try and get away from this silver Myvi but it is still hugging your a*s
You speed up more and Myvi man is still there. Still in your rear-view mirror.
You speed up even more and he is still there! Makin laju pulak dia.
Eventually you give up. Cannot take it anymore.
You move into the left lane.
The pressure is too much.
Similarly at work, when you are under pressure, do you know how to handle it?
Do you keep saying yes to new work and let the pressure build up more and more?
Or you know how to say no to new work because you know the pressure is too much already.
Saying no to work when you are already overloaded is a bit like moving to the left lane when there is a Myvi up your a*s on the highway
It is for your own safety.
