I quit clinical medicine after 8 years of working.
Dah kerja 8 tahun already when I said goodbye to oncalls forever.
Was it scary to jump into the unknown?
Actually I don’t remember being scared.
I remember being bored and not enjoying work anymore. Tak syok dah.
The majority of work was more or less repetitive and oncall work were mainly fixing venflons, prescribing painkillers and checking the fluids.
So I decided to quit and move into pharmaceutical industry.
Was I scared jumping into the pharma industry?
Not really. I was excited to find out what lies ahead of me.
20 years later I can say for sure that it has been exciting and amazing.
So if you are thinking about it, don’t be scared.
