The batik price in Jakarta is so cheap.
I bought dua baju. And my team mates bought a few more.
I was happy with my purchase. The quality is good and the price was a bargain. Compared to KL price.
Then our Indonesian colleague asked did we bargain. We said not really. They said we should start with 50% of the opening price and settle for around 20-30% of the opening price. Facepalm moment.
Suddenly we were not so happy anymore. We felt that we have overpaid. Alamak ruginya.
It’s funny how situation can change suddenly. From happy to not so happy.
After that initial surprise, I chose to switch to be happy again.
I could continue to feel that I have overpaid or I could choose to be happy with the purchase.
I chose to be happy.
2 beautiful Indonesian batik shirts for RM150 is definitely a bargain.
