I AM A LEADER
I asked all of them to write that on a piece of paper. Ambik kertas tulis sendiri.
It is the first step in making them believe that they are leaders in the Malaysian healthcare system.
They are MBA students from UTM and all of them are local doctors.
They are the future leaders in our healthcare system.
My talk was simple.
- Beliefs govern behaviours. Believing that you are a leader will make you behave like a leader.
- Important behaviours or qualities of a leader are Inspire, Protect & Cultivate.
- Career progression is dependant on PIE (Performance, Image, Exposure). Performance alone is not enough to guarantee job promotion.
