You’ve sent out 100s of CVs.
Finally you got an interview.
First question they asked ‘Tell me about yourself’. You were so nervous you couldn’t really answer it. Terbelit-belit lidah. The rest of the interview was no better. You didn’t get the job. You then asked for some feedback tapi tak de response. So you don’t know how to improve for the next interview.
Sounds familiar?
Then how can you improve yourself for an interview? This is what you can do.
Prepare well for the interview.
Write down verbatim all your interview answers. Tulis setiap perkataan.
Then find a friend to practice with out loud. Abang or kakak pun boleh jugak
Get that friend (or abang/kakak) to give you brutally honest feedback. Tak boleh sugar coating.
Does it make sense? Is my answer too long? Do I sound nervous? Do I sound boring? Do I sound confident?
Rewrite your answers based on the feedback. Betulkan your script.
Find the same friend. Or the same abang/kakak. Practice lagi sekali.
Repeat until happy with the answers. Ulang sampai dah betul-betul happy.
Or repeat until cannot take it anymore. Sampai dah tak larat.
Good luck and fingers crossed for the interview. Selamat bertawakal dan berinterview
If you want to learn firsthand from me on how to prepare for an interview you can join my training on the 26th of November. It is an online training and you will be given some homework to prepare for the training. Its not one of those just listen diam-diam kind of training. Have to participate.
