3 common problems with LinkedIn posts and how to fix them.
1. The opening sentence is boring.
When Linkedin readers scroll, they only see the first 2-3 lines of the post. So kena la make it interesting to hook them in and press ‘…see more’
2. The post is very long.
Linkedin readers have short attention span. They all malas nak scroll that much to read a post. A good length is about 2 screen phone pages only. So cut down your post or split them into 2 posts.
3. No take away message.
Linkedin readers are hungry for useful information. So make sure that there is one takeaway message for them. Preferably an actionable takeaway message.
For example with this post,
- The opening line is about fixing LinkedIn problem.
- The post is about 1.5 screen phone pages long.
- Takeaway message is about what you can do to fix your LinkedIn post.
Hope it helps.
