That was a very surreal moment last night with Eric Sim who has 2.7 Million followers on LinkedIn.
Yes, you read that right.
2.7 Juta followers. Ramai giler.

I have been a big fan of Eric for nearly 2 years now and his book Small Actions have inspired me big time in many small ways.
Yesterday Eric gave an inspiring presentation on Thought Leadership at an event organised by MindZallera
My main learning from the session was about ‘Embracing Negative Comments’. It is something that I still have problems dealing with sometimes.
Eric offered a couple of perspectives on it.
First, he said that a negative comment is better than no comment. Second, it also shows that your ideas are new & different and challenging what is ‘normal’ thinking.
Betul jugak kan what he says!
So it’s a good thing to receive negative comments.
Eric’s last advice on this topic to me is be stronger. Don’t be a strawberry, be a durian.
So I will be a durian.
And next time I will take him to SS2 durian instead of kedai mamak.
