- The company
The bare minimum is to do a google search of the company. More better is to go to the company’s website. Read about their vision and priorities. For pharmaceutical companies, read about their pipeline.
If you don’t do your research, then you will not able to answer ‘Why do you want to work for this company?’
- Profile of the interviewers
Check la their LinkedIn profiles. Nowadays ok je to do that. It is not considered stalking anymore. I am quite flattered when people check my profile haha.
Check their backgrounds, dulu kerja kat mana. You can also try to find them on Instagram or Facebook or yg trendy sikit tu maybe even Tiktok. If you have a common hobby or interest then bring that up during the interview. People like other people who have similar interest to them.
- Location of the company
Find out where the office is. Make sure you get the address right. Some of the business buildings have names that are quite similar.
One time a candidate tersilap pergi to a similar sounding building in KL city centre instead of our office in Damansare Heights. Face palm moment.
