I have done hundreds of interviews and these are the 3 most common problems that I see
First – not doing enough preparation. It’s very obvious when candidates come unprepared. They are not sure about their answers. Soalan senang pun susah nak jawab.
Second – not showing enough interest. It’s also very obvious when they are not really interested in the job. They haven’t done their research about the job or the company. Muka tak semangat.
Third – not able to sell themselves. Our Malaysian culture unfortunately taught us to always not boast about ourselves. Mesti merendah diri. So during interview they are not comfortable to talk about their amazing achievements.
Therefore do this to increase your chance of success during interviews.
