Is an introvert not suitable for a manager’s role?
No, it doesn’t matter if you are an introvert or extrovert.
Either one can make a great manager.
Out of the 10 managers in my team now, 4 are more introverted. Senyap sikit.
And they are equally as good, equally as successful as the extroverted ones.
To be a good manager is not just about being able to talk to other people.
It is about being able to understand your team, being able to establish trust with the team, being able to delegate work effectively and being able to inspire the team towards working to a common goal.
So to be a manager, you don’t have to be an extrovert.
Introvert pun boleh.
