‘What is the company policy if someone doesn’t meet the performance KPI’ is not the best question to ask during an interview. It gives the impression that you have low confidence about being able to do the job. If you ask me that question, I will just geleng kepala je lah.
‘How many holidays do the company gives every year?’ may also not be the best question to ask me during an interview. I am a strong believer in good work-life balance but it gives me the impression that you are more concerned about the ‘not working’ part of the job rather than the ‘working’ part of the job. Macam nak pikir cuti je all the time.
And please also don’t ask about the salary during the interview. Big no no. It shows that you are more interested in the money aspect and not really about the actual job.
Save the holiday and salary question when they have already offered you the job and you are in the package negotiation phase. That time baru boleh.
During the interview ask questions like ‘what is the priority of the team for this year’ or ‘how would you describe the culture of the company’.
The question part is for you to get to know the company so use it wisely.
