
3 things that I’m assessing for when I do interviews.
1. Communication.
2. Competencies.
3. Character.
I want to see that the candidate can communicate well. Boleh cakap ke tak? Communication is very important in my industry
I want to see if the candidate has the right skillset for the role. If they don’t, then I try to assess if they are trainable. Boleh di ajar ke tak?
I want to see what is their character and whether they can fit into the team. Boleh ngam ke tak?
So make sure you can communicate well during the interview. Highlight the relevant competencies for the role and be on your best behaviour.
