95 days was the longest time he was on board a ship. Lama gila. I would have gone crazy
That was just one of the amazing stories from Captain Ariva who ventured into the Bermuda Triangle 7 times while sailing across the 7 seas during his career as a ship captain.
Now he’s a design thinking expert who helps companies solve their complex problems. He went to the prestigious MIT to learn about it! Don’t play play. He runs training workshops, teambuilding and is also a keynote speaker.
I first met him at the Medic Footprints Malaysia Diverse Career Summit and I was struck by his energy on stage. His presentation was smooth with great storytelling and beautiful use of metaphors. I wanted to learn from the master how he does it.
I found out how he prepares for his presentation. To my surprise, his method is totally opposite to mine. I’m a write-script-first kind of guy and he is do-slides-first and no-script kind of guy. It shows that there are many ways to skin a cat.
As long as you achieve your objective, it doesn’t really matter how you get there.
