Acropolis of Athens is just a pile of old stones on a hill. Batu-batu aje.
That would be a good accurate description of it if you didn’t know the full history of it.
Athens was once one of the most important city in the history of mankind. Athens was the birthplace of democracy and also where the Olympics started.
It’s place in history is undisputed and that’’s the reason why millions of visitors come to visit Athens and the Acropolis every year.
Acropolis is not just a pile of stones.
This reminded me of how many times have I made a judgement about somebody or something without knowing the full story.
We rely so much on the power of us deciding on the first impression that sometimes we might not realised that the information that we have might be incomplete.
So the next time when you are presented with something new, or meet someone new, maybe just pause a little and ask yourself do I have all the information that I need to make a judgement.
