Should you send a thank you message after an interview?
Definite yes!
It was a unanimous yes from both me and Hanie Razaif-Bohlender when we were discussing this topic during the ‘Az Me Anything’ session last wednesday night. It is very easy and simple, and doesn’t take much time to do, so please hantar je a quick thank you note after the interview ya.
Hanie had a brilliant suggestion though. To be memorable, bring a handwritten ‘Thank you’ card and just pass it to the interviewer after the interview. Sekarang ni kan susah nak dapat anything yang tulis tangan sendiri. I love her idea and I am sure that will get you some precious brownie points.
