3 simple career advice for Monday morning
1. Don’t ask for difficult things from your boss using WhatsApp. Never do that. Never. Always go and talk to your boss face to face. One time someone ask me for RM20,000 extra budget via WhatsApp. I replied “Do you ask RM20,000 from your bank manager via WhatsApp?”
2. Don’t ignore emails from your boss. Don’t make your boss ask you for something twice. Just don’t. It is really annoying. So make sure you know what the deadline is and set it in your calendar and put a reminder. It’s not rocket science. Senang je.
3. Don’t ignore feedback from your boss. It takes time to give feedback. So when your boss gives you feedback it means your boss cares about you. Otherwise, your boss won’t do that. Otherwise, it will be tak kisah lantak kau la.
